Switzerland already qualified for the quarter final

Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL), February 16, 2021 – 15 teams registered to the Cortina FIS Ski World Championships team event starting tomorrow at 12.15 pm. Unlike today’s parallel, there won’t be qualifications.

Switzerland, top nation at the moment, has already moved to the next round as there’s an odd number of teams taking part to the event. Anyway, the Swiss will partecipate to the first run, but with a definitive qualification to the quarter finals: they will challenge the winner between Canada and Czech Republic.

Austria – silver medal in Åre – will face Belgium in the first round. Italy – bronze in Sweden – will face Finland. Switzerland – the current champions – will partecipate with Wendy Holdener, Camille Rast, Jasmine Suter, Semyel Bissig, Tanguy Nef and Sandro Simonet.
