Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL), 7 February 2021 – The 46° Alpine World Ski Championships have been inaugurated in Cortina. The show, presented by RDS’s Petra Loreggian, was marked by rain, which is unusual at this time of year in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A total of 34 athletes are signed up for the first race, representing 17 nations. The weather forecast projects an improvement around midday, with weak precipitations expected in the morning.
