Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL), February 20, 2021 – The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina are about to end. The last race of the programme – the Men’s slalom – will take place at Druscié tomorrow.

Bib no. 1 for Alexis Pinturault, who wants to do better than what he did on Friday, when he didn’t finish the GS race. The other bibs are Sebastian Foss-Solevaag (2), Ramon Zenhaeusern (3), Henrik Kristoffersen (4), Clement Noel (5), Manuel Feller (6), Marco Schwarz (7) – one of the great favourites and leader of this World Cup discipline – Adrian Pertl (8), Daniel Yule (9), Michael Matt (10), Alexander Khoroshilov (11), Loic Meillard (12), Victor Muffat-Jeandet (13), Dave Ryding (14) and Linus Strasser (15).
In the meanwhile – in the morning – Lino Lacedelli at 5 Torri hosted the Men’s Slalom qualification. The winner was Seigo Kato from Japan, followed by the Bulgarian Kamen Zlatkov (+0.63) and Itamar Biran from Israel (+0.64).

Programme is the same as today: first run at 10am, second run at 1.30pm, followed by the closing ceremony of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina and the handover ceremony involving Courchevel-Méribel.
